Winter Frost..........

Evening peeps, well after stocking my cupboard with Halloween goodies we only had a couple of trick or treaters so I guess we will be sucking on eyeball lollies for quite a while yet. Well November is here and that means foggy nights and a new challenge at Crafty Individuals the theme this month is Winter Frost. I have used a couple of stamps to make this simple Christmas card. For the background I spritzed the card with Midnight glimmer mist and then stamped with the snowflake stamp CI 241 in black.

The magical reindeer stamp CI 358 has been embossed in vintage amethyst powder by Wow, and then I spritzed the background with Midnight glimmer mist again. The snowflake die has been embossed in foam white sparkle embossing powder.

Don't forget to use a Crafty Individuals product on your entry and you will get a discount code with 25% off your next purchase.

My two grandsons are having a sleepover tonight so after I finally get the pair into bed they might sleep through till 6:00 am. if I'm lucky, I shall have to have a Nana nap in the afternoon.
Todays card was for my daughter's birthday, the stamp is from Chocolate Baroque, I layered up the rose which I coloured in with Prismas.

MDF heart.....

Morning fellow bloggers, well I'm back off our holidays, we stayed a Punta Sabbioni which is just across the lagoon from Venice so we spent a lovely week visiting Venice a couple of times as well as sitting in the lovely sunshine, mind you I'm feeling the cold now we are back.
Before we went away I spent a lovely weekend celebrating the 10th anniversary at Moxley and this is another project that we made, a lovely mini floral heart with Katy Leitch, I think I'm going to use this on the front of a mini wedding album.

Texture paste was used on the background, the flowers were painted with gesso first and then we used mica  powders and mica sprays to add the colour, I kept mine very pale with the hints of blue, then the fun part of adding pearls, gems and micro beads to finish off.
