Morning to everyone, its the start of the weekend and its work for me, my Son had his Christmas party at work yesterday ..........gosh he looked handsome in his tuxedo, just hope someone was taking pics there. Guess we will have a busy day today as there is only a couple of weekends left before the big day.
Today sees the start of the challenge at Kraftyhands, a nice easy one for you as its...........anything goes.
Thought I do something different and do a centre stepper card featuring the Garden Steps Cd.
Afternoon peeps, brrrr cold and windy today, the challenge over at Crafty Individuals is make something Festive, I have kept my card very CAS, using just greys and silver. This is one of the new stamps CI 399 Winter Wonderland, I have used memento London Fog ink and layered up the centre section of the image. The papers are from First Edition ......Silent Night.I crimped some of the paper and used gesso on the edges, whilst the paint was still wet I sprinkled glamour dust in it for lots of sparkle, I also added star dust stickles as the falling snow on the image.
getting busy at work now
I'm putting the trees up this weekend
well the boys are putting them up with the lights on
and then I will decorate them on Monday as I'm off out on Sunday
.....we're having a pamper Christmas party, back massage, lovely food
Morning peeps, this is a scheduled post as I looking after Zachary today and playing on my computer is out of the question especially as he like s to press the keys and I end up with deleted bits.....hes's such a handful but soooooo darn cute its hard to say no, I'm wrapped around his little finger.
Thought I'd share with you a tag I made using one of the new stamps CI402 Just be my friend from Crafty Individuals,I wanted to keep it plain and simple and after stamping out the image in Cocoa I decided to keep to neutrals using lace, string and pearls to complete the effect, I have used the sentiments as part of the background on the tag which is also from CI, I did add white fire gold (Treasure Gold from Paper Artsy) to the edges of the tag. When I had finished I sprayed the tag with gold glimmer mist for a lovely shimmery finish.
Evening to you all hope you had a lovely weekend, I decided to leave the tree trimming till next week, so we went shopping to Milton Keynes yesterday instead for a bit of retail therapy.Although to be honest I have nearly got all my pressies this year for Christmas, just need to start wrapping which isn't my favourite job it has to be said, I think because we gift wrap in the shop I kinda go off the idea for myself.
Love the title of this one, think a lot of ladies will identify with it, the image started off as a bit of an experiment as I wanted to emboss all three ladies but using different colours. I ended up doing 2 in gold and one in the new vintage colour from Wow, the ladies are layered and the fussy cut out.
The papers are from K& Co and have been in my room for quite a while, thought they were perfect for this Parisienne theme, I stuck an Eiffel Tower charm over the stamped image of the tower as it was a perfect fit.
Morning peeps its December the 1st.......you can now open the first window on your advent calendars, we sold so many yesterday at work, last year we still had people asking for them the following week quite a few because Dads had eaten the chocolates before the kids got to them......how naughty is that.
Today sees the start of a new challenge at Ready Teddy Go, the theme is.......contemporary Christmas.I have used this sweet Ted from Lili of the Valley coloured in with Prismas. The papers are from first Edition.
One lucky winner this month gets to win these goodies.
I used white Frantage embossing powder for the snow,
Afternoon peeps hope you have all got your advent calendars ready to start opening on Sunday, I can't make my mind up whether to put the Christmas tree up o Sunday or wait till the following week, I'm a little worried this year as Zachary is in to everything and I've got a feeling that the tree is going to come under attack this Christmas, he is such a sweet little terror but I spend most of my time following him around saying NOooooooo.
Today sees the start of a new challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow, this fortnight the theme is ....Vintage Christmas.
I have used an image from Ooh La La Creations and the papers are from First Edition, I did say I wasn't going to buy anymore Christmas paper pads but I fell in love with this one, so it fell in my basket when I was at the NEC. Added Frantage to the edges of the image.
Morning peeps , hope you all had a fabbie weekend, Christmas trees have started to appear in the street, I was thing of putting mine up in a couple of weeks time, looks like we will be the last ones in the street this year. We spent yesterday at the NEC visiting the Warley Train show.......could have fell asleep the hall was soooooo dark I just wanted to curl up and snooze.
Today sees the start of a new challenge at Ooh la la Creations, we have a lovely easy theme for you.....Happy Birthday. I have used image and papers from the new Shawn Jenkins CD. I had enough paper left to make a matching tag.
